Sad news from the farm

I'm sad to report that our little goat didn't make it. Further investigation certainly points to tetanus, which we now know goats are very susceptible to. We will innoculate the rest of the goats to, hopefully, prevent this tragedy from happening again. We get so attached to our animals - we think of them all as pets - so it makes it hard when we loose one. Momma Clementine and the other twin seem a little quiet today - the twins were always running and jumping and play butting their heads together, so that is sad too. On a brighter note, Willow, our other female, should be having her baby/babies in the next few weeks.

Gary continued work on the new piece of play equipment and has it almost finished - monkey bars in the middle and then swings, trapeeze, and a baby swing (to be added).

Sorry to hear about your goat. Maybe Jason can brighten your spirits with a BGB.
